Lucerne and Central Swiss Mountains

Be blown away by one of Central Switzerland?s most exquisite mountain areas on a private day trip to Lucerne and Mount Rigi. Your private driverguide will pick you up at your accommodation in Zurich and drive you to Central Switzerland in a comfortable vehicle. Switzerland's oldest cogwheel train brings you to the top of the mountain. Breathtaking views over lakes and mountains accompany you during a pleasant train ride. At the top of Mount Rigi, you will have some time for leisure and lunch. Take the train down, or enjoy a short hike downhill as locals do, and reach the valley from where you take a boat to Lucerne. Your private driverguide will be waiting for you at the pier in Lucerne and show you the highlights of the City of Light, such as the Chapel Bridge wrapped in colourful flowers, the Water Tower, Jesuit Church and Lion Monument. In the late afternoon, the driverguide will take you back to your Zurich-based accommodation.

Itinerary: Zurich - Mount Rigi - Lake Lucerne - Lucerne - Zurich

This tour can start and finish in Lucerne as well. Ex Lucerne with private guide (no vehicle needed).
